Joy Ann Lazarus
CEO, Founder and Media Director, was an accomplished trainer and instructor before her love for the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy took over. In 2015, she started her own non-profit, Soul 2 Soul Equine Healing, where she and Mark Frankle, MFCC allow the horses to help people with addictions and other needs receive help.
Over the years, Joy has operated a very successful training and lesson program, instructing riders of all ages and abilities year round. Soul 2 Soul Equine Healing once specialized in Saddleseat and Driving, now offers Western and Hunt Seat lessons. Soul 2 Soul Equine Healing specializes in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP); offers trail riding in the Malibu Mountains and lessons all year round.
Joy is a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, where she majored in Equestrian Science. Before opening her own business in Southern California, she was a riding instructor and trainer for top stables in the competitive Kentucky area. Her students have successfully shown at the World Championship Horse Show in Louisville, KY, American Royal in Kansas City, MO, Lexington Jr. League in Lexington, KY and many more prestigious horse shows.
Joy’s hobbies include skiing, scuba diving and showing her dogs. She is also a successful breeder and handler of Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, competing in conformation, packing, herding, obedience, rally and drafting.
Mark Frankle
M.A., Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist has been a licensed psychotherapist since 1994, specializing in the field of grief and loss since 2000. While the focus of Mark’s work is helping clients overcome the heartbreak of loss, he has also been working in the field of substance abuse since 1998. As a result, he has successfully applied his experience of resolving the pain of grief to the heartache of substance abuse. During the course of his career Mark served as The Clinical Director of a 78-bed agency where he helped adolescent clients overcome the many losses that result from abuse and neglect.
In 2011, Mark started an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program in conjunction with Soul 2 Soul Equine Healing Inc. in Malibu, California. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy utilizes the interactions of horses and people to help heal a variety of issues such as, abuse, depression, anxiety, and chemical dependency.
In 2012, Mark joined Edu-Therapy Solutions, LTD. as the co-creator of the Edu-Therapy process, a cognitive behavioral model for healing the pain of grief and resolving conflicted relationships. Mark is also the co-founder of Calabasas Counseling and Grief Recovery Center.

Erin Beth Rudder
Ms. Rudder is a partner in Dolphin Energy LLC, a 58-year-old oil & gas production company owned and operated by her family. Ms. Rudder is Dolphin Energy’s Operations Executive who has demonstrated strong technical and business qualifications with an impressive track record of more than 23 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, business development and project management.
In addition to Dolphin, she owns and operates Erin Rudder Photography in which she photographs domestic animals in their natural element. Erin’s work has been published in Dog Calendars, Southern Wedding Magazine, Humane Society Calendar, Ocean Drive Magazine and several Equine magazines with circulation all over the world.
Most recently Erin became a Board Member of Special Spaces Palm Beach, a 501 (c)3 organization that creates dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. Special Spaces evolved from the belief that these children need a special place to heal, recover and find solitude, while addressing their medical needs. Erin sits as Photography Chair and Special Event Co-Chair.
Erin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from the University of Miami. She is an avid golfer, repeat World Champion Equestrian and World Record Sport-Fisher. Erin’s work can be viewed on Facebook.
Victoria Bleeden
Victoria has been passionate about horses her entire life. A competitive multi-disciplinary equestrian for over 30 years, she has ridden and competed all over US winning multiple amateur championships. She currently owns a hunter/jumper gelding named Tater.
Victoria is native to California. She attended UCSB where she acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. After college, Victoria worked as an independent theatrical publicist before launching a ten year career in the music industry. Most recently, she has worked as a researcher in Fine Art and and as a trustee in financial management.
Victoria loves working with animals and their companions. She is a Certified Animal Communicator with specialized animal healing training and is currently working on her Equine Guided Education Certification.
